Volunteer
There are many ways SEE International can utilize medical and non-medical volunteers, from packing supplies to be shipped to an expedition site, to helping organize our events. How would you like to get involved?
Ophthalmologists
If you are an ophthalmologist and are interested in going on an expedition or hosting an expedition in your home country visit our Affiliate with SEE page.
Volunteers in the Santa Barbara Area
We welcome volunteers in a variety of positions. You can help out in the warehouse, volunteer at a SEE event, or in our administrative offices. If there is a particular talent you would like to share with us, please contact us and we can find the perfect volunteer position for you.
High School Students
Fulfill your community service requirements at SEE International. It is a great way to familiarize yourself with an international charitable organization and start making a difference in the world!
College Students
Are you interested in pursuing a career in the non-profit industry? SEE International offers a volunteer internship that provides you with work experience in grant research and writing, provides insight into an international charitable organization, and introduces you to the professional workplace. We ask that you are available at least ten hours a week, for at least one academic quarter/trimester/semester.
Outside the Santa Barbara Area
Do you live outside the Santa Barbara area, but would still like to volunteer? With the communication revolution upon us, there are a number of ways to volunteer from the comfort of your own home. Help is always needed in development and public relations. If you would like to share your talents in writing, graphic design or fundraising, please contact us and we can discuss potential projects.
For more information on any of these volunteer positions, please call (805) 963-3303 or e-mail seeintl@seeintl.org. Thank you for your interest!
