Digital Designer

FLSA: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Communications Manager

Summary: A Digital Designer creates, manages, and produces digital designs for a variety of uses, including but not limited to the following: websites, social media graphics, campaign branding, print media, product graphics, photography, and videography. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned): 

  • Conceptualize and produce online and offline collateral for marketing and fundraising, including original campaigns, banner ads, emails, short videos, etc.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to take ideas from concept to execution, collaborating with project managers, design teams, information technologists, and content experts
  • Create and design graphics that will be used in publications including social media, print, and online
  • Edit video footage for short videos and ad campaigns, collaborate with external video editors on larger-scale projects
  • Prepare and deliver files to vendors as needed for print, digital, merchandise, etc. and maintain key relationships with said vendors
  • Assist in identifying opportunities as well as developing and implementing communications campaigns around key programs and issues

Compensation: $60,000 – $70,000

  • Project Management: Develops project plans; coordinates with appropriate parties; communicates changes and progress.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Arts, Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design (or related field) or equivalent years of technical work experience

Language Ability:

  • Strong communication skills

Math Ability:

  • Basic mathematical ability, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to think creatively and analytically

Technology

  • Must have extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Premiere, as well as video editing software

This is a remote position that may be performed at your home office.

Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000
