In May 2025, PazSalud and Rosales National Hospital in San Salvador came together once again, with the support of SEE International and Alcon, to provide free cataract surgeries for some of El Salvador’s most vulnerable patients.
For Cataract Awareness Month, we sat down with two local patients, Imelda and Sandra, at our Santa Barbara headquarters to hear about their experience with cataracts and share their journeys toward restored vision.

SEE Vision Care (SVC) recently launched De Campo a Campo (From Field to Field), a new mobile outreach initiative designed to bring essential eyecare directly to agricultural fields.
Through our international education initiative, SEE is proud to support NBJK’s mission to expand access to quality eyecare in underserved regions of India.
Last year, SEE International supported its third surgical program in Oshikuku, Namibia, bringing essential eyecare to low-income and underserved patients suffering from cataracts and other vision conditions.
