Global & Local Health Initiatives

“It has been an honor to have helped restore vision to so many people who were suffering a life of blindness. Witnessing these individuals return from a life of darkness and relative despair to a life full of vibrant color and hope has been profoundly gratifying. In low resource countries there are extremely limited options to assist visually disabled people. So, not only is it incredible to see the direct impact our teams make on each person who regains vision, but it is amazing to also see the indirect effect on the entire community which now has an induvial that can once again live independently, return to work, return to school, and contribute positively to the betterment of the entire community. It is incredible to witness how the efforts of our volunteer nurses, doctors, and technicians transform the lives of individuals along with the entire community.”
