Join us for the 6th annual ArtSEE event featuring artwork from the Abstract Art Collective
What is ArtSEE?
ArtSEE is an inspiring exhibition of abstract art created and sponsored by members of the Abstract Art Collective of Santa Barbara. The goal is to raise funds for SEE, in order to help provide free eye care for those in need.
In light of the events, this year’s exhibition will be held virtually! All original 10×10 art panels will be featured on an online art gallery which will be available for purchase. These beautifully donated art pieces were created by the AAC members. Each piece will be offered for sale at $100 on a first-come-first-choose basis. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the grid wall sales will be donated to SEE International.
Mariko Tabar is an artist and art educator, and is currently serving as a Santa Barbara County Second District Art Commissioner. Mariko also serves as an Executive Board member for the Goleta Valley Community Center. She has a long history of participation in solo and group shows, both locally and internationally. After retiring from teaching art at Vieja Valley School, she became a volunteer art instructor at various local non-profit organizations, including Girls Inc. She has curated community art shows at Farmers and Merchants Trust Company.
