Spring Sightings 2021

Even with the obstacles faced in the last year due to COVID-19, our team is grateful to share the impacts we have still been able to make on those in need. The SEE team worked diligently to adapt our programs to continue serving our global community. These efforts strengthened by our generous supporters and together, we have still been able to make a difference in the world despite the challenges faced.

In this issue of sightings, read about stories of individuals from Burundi and Nepal who received critical eyecare through SEE’s support of our international partners. Other stories feature patients served by our Santa Barbara Vision Care (SBVC) program, as well as updates regarding SEE’s exciting outreach efforts and how our education program has adapted to continue administering Manual Small Incision Cataract Surgery (MSICS) courses.
