Catherine Lamorena, Vice President of Programs

As SEE’s Vice President of Programs, Catherine Lamorena oversees the growth and development of the international and national programs as well as the education division. Since 2013, she has led the continued advancement of SEE’s programs. As a respected mentor, Catherine leads her team of coordinators to ensure the and quality of each program.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and experience as a returned Peace Corps Volunteer, Catherine has dedicated her entire career to international development and global health initiatives. During her Peace Corps service, Catherine spent two and a half years focusing on health education and providing in-service trainings to women’s groups within the western highlands of Guatemala. Catherine has also volunteered in various efforts in the Dominican Republic and in New Orleans, Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina. Her role here at SEE allows Catherine to combine her background in various nonprofit efforts with her passion in global health.

Catherine is an avid traveler and outdoorsman who loves Santa Barbara for its beautiful scenery and climate. Outside the office, Catherine can be found out on the hiking trails or in the yoga studio.
