In February of 2010, SEE volunteer ophthalmologist Dr. Charles Post traveled to El Progreso, Honduras for a week-long program, where he and a team of volunteer medical professionals worked relentlessly to restore sight to individuals in need.
Although the consistent changing of worldly conditions has halted the work of thousands of organizations across the globe, SEE International has remained committed to our goal of providing quality eye care and serving our global community in any way we can.
In February of 2004, current SEE affiliate and volunteer ophthalmologist, Dr. Douglas Katsev, embarked on a mission with a team of medical volunteers to restore sight to patients in Savusavu, Fiji.
Here at SEE, it is our mission to provide accessible eye care services and sight-restoring surgeries to disadvantaged populations across the globe and right here at home.
In September of 1991, Dr. Duong Quang Trung, the Director of Health Services in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, invited SEE International to organize a volunteer team to perform eye surgery and present lectures in Ho Chi Minh City.
